RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Scheduler in Juno Beach, FL.

Job Purpose:
Under direct supervision, the Project Scheduler will assist with the planning activities including the development of plant work orders. The candidate will ensure a coordinated effort of maintenance, maintenance planning, and project execution between Transmission and Substation operations and Nuclear. They will evaluate and improve the execution of work management of Transmission Nuclear activities for nuclear related assets. As a Project Scheduler, you will assist in event response and root cause analysis and prevention of reoccurrence. You will also lead the scheduling and tracking for maintenance, compliance and project progress at the Nuclear sites.

Primary (Essential) Job Functions (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary by the company):

• Assist with the development of work orders for Transmission activities on nuclear related assets


• Assist with scheduling Transmission activities on nuclear related assets


• Assist with Event response and emergent issues


• Work management planning meetings

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree - Engineering or professional certification


• Six Sigma Certification - Yellow Belt


• 0+ years of experience in a combination of the following areas: Ability to assist with projects that require complex analysis and work execution; Substation and Transmission system operations or nuclear operations; Maintenance of transformers and switch yard assets or nuclear assets


• Expert ability with integrity and compliance skills


• Basic ability with analysis and problem solving, communications, process/project management, commercial, leadership and professional skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree - Business Administration or Engineering


• Six Sigma Certification - Green Belt or higher


• Ability to meet attendance and storm duty requirement


• Ability to work extended hours

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
