Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Portland, ME that is seeking a Collections Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Collect payments with private insurance companies such as Anthem, Aetna, UBH, Cigna, etc.


• Support collections team by handling cash posting, invoices, and cash receipts


• Spend a lot of the day on phone calls


• Assist with any other adhoc duties

REQUIREMENTS:

• Collections experience in the medical field


• Knows insurance terminology


• Knows how to utilize Outlook, Excel and Adobe


• Comfortable with being on the phone for long periods of time


• Can work well with others on a team


• Mental health billing/collections knowledge is preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
