Job Description:

Summary: Our client is seeking a highly skilled HR Compliance Auditor to join their team as they embark on a Human Resources transformation. Our organization has undergone significant growth, resulting in the need for a comprehensive audit of HR files to ensure regulatory compliance and streamline processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR audits, exceptional Excel and reporting capabilities, a strong background in benefits administration, and a reliable, adaptable personality.



Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough audit of all HR files and records to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.


• Utilize advanced Excel skills to organize and analyze large datasets for reporting and audit purposes.


• Review employee records, including benefits contributions and enrollment data, to ensure accuracy and completeness.


• Collaborate with HR team members and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in processes and documentation.


• Document findings, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions based on audit results.


• Assist in the implementation of new HR processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in conducting HR audits, preferably in a complex organizational environment.


• Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and manipulation.


• Strong understanding of benefits administration, including knowledge of benefits programs and compliance requirements.


• Familiarity with HR systems such as Sage, ADP, and other vendor platforms.


• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.


• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.


• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.


• Previous experience in supporting HR department creation or cleanup projects is a plus.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR.
