Director of Student Success
The Director of Student Success at the Michigan Community College Association will execute the priorities of the Michigan Center for Student Success to support community colleges in their efforts to improve equitable student outcomes. The Director is an integral part of the MCCA team and is primarily responsible for organizing, leading, and implementing the grant-funded projects of the Center for Student Success and managing a team of staff and consultants expected to execute the work.
The Director reports to the Vice President of the MCCA who is responsible for the overall vision for student success at the Association including securing federal, state, and philanthropic funds to support the Center for Student Success and integrating Center strategies with the Association and broader national and state student success ecosystem. A strong candidate will manage several projects simultaneously with the support of staff and consultants and should therefore have outstanding project and people management skills.
Reports to: Vice President
Employment Type: Full-Time, hybrid, with regular travel to Lansing approximately 2 days per week with additional in-state and national travel for meetings, convenings, and conferences. This position is grant-funded, and dependent on the availability of grant resources.
