Key Responsibilities:
Work in conjunction with On-Site Coordinator for waste services.
Facilitate Safety Meetings, LPS (Safety Program at client sites) Stewardship meeting.
Steward all Safety Documents. LPO's, Nli's, LI's, FRCS's and Stewardship meetings. (Safety Program at client sites) we will provide training.
LPS - Loss Prevention System
LPO- Loss prevention Observation
LPSA - Loss Prevention Self-assessment
NLI - Near Loss Investigation
LI - Loss Investigation
QI - Questionable Item
FRCS - Factors, Root Causes, and Solutions
SSW - Short Service Worker
Schedule all LPO's. (Safety Program at client sites) we will provide training.
Verify and validate all corrective actions from QI's, NLI's and LI's (Safety Program at client sites)
Should perform daily LPSA touches with field personnel. (Safety Program at client sites)
Maintain training on all applicable EOP's and Site Procedures. For all GFL IPS Personal
Train new/current employees on LPS safety program (SSW and Mentor program)
Meet all LPS training and requirements. (Safety Program at client sites)
Escorting vehicles inside plant
Maintains all Truck inspections and mileage
In-Plant support for Flo-bins movement have forklift experience a plus
Assist others when additional logistics help is unavailable
Ensure all employees are up to date on all safety training
Sign up all employees for the required safety training and Steward all Safety Documents DISA and HASC
Providing direct supervision of all drivers and IPS (In Plant Services), ensuring ongoing training requirements are up-to-date
Working alongside the onsite supervisor/manager and serve as a backup in his absence
Conducting ongoing observational behavior assessments on drivers and IPS (In Plant Services) training to uncover any performance issues, and report findings to his supervisor
Attaining all of the necessary information regarding any issues by maintaining courteous, prompt and efficient customer relations
Ensuring a healthy and safe working environment for all workers, and reporting any related issues immediately to the supervisor/manager
Ensuring company policy, systems, and industry related training is delivered to all drivers and IPS team as needed
Performing Accident Investigations with or without company vehicles involved in any traffic or non-traffic accidents
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
Valid Commercial license, preferred
2+ years of supervisory experience
Preference will be given to those candidates with experience working with in-plant industrial line of business or Commercial collection, civil construction, transportation and/or Operations scope.
General understanding of OSHA, DOT, DISA and HASC day to day operations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Capability to plan, prioritize and execute against tight timelines.
Intermediate database, spreadsheet, and word processing skills within a Microsoft environment.
Willing to work flexible hours
