Production Team Member - Summer Hire at Carlisle Construction Materials in Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

We are looking for individuals to join our adhesives plant production team in Carlisle, PA for the duration of the Summer (May - August).


We will train dependable individuals with a desire to work as a part of a team in a successful and growing manufacturing company.


Compensation:


$18.00 per hour


Available Schedule:


This is a three shift operation with opportunities on each shift.


1st shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:00PM


2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00PM - 11:00PM


3rd shift: Sunday night - Thursday night, 11:00PM - 7:00AM


Overtime may be required


Job Responsibilities:


* Start and operate all required assembly machines
* Following specification and certification sheets while packing product
* Set up all required assembly machines and materials needed for daily production
* Obtaining raw materials and moving finished goods to staging area as necessary, using a forklift
* Maintaining 5S requirements
* Any other job duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor


* Willingness to perform several jobs across different areas of the operation
* Able to read and communicate with other employees.
* Able to perform math calculations relating to output, sheet length, linear feet
* Willing and able to operate a forklift (we will train)
* Able to lift or move 50 lbs.
* Able to stand for 8 hours.
* Requires standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing.
* Able to pass 5-panel drug screen
* Able to pass pre-employment background screen including a federal and county check.
