LSU Health Sciences Center, Human Development Center seeks to hire a Local Education Agency (LEA) Facilitator to develop and provide professional development and coaching to educators across the state as a part of the LASARD Project team. LASARD supports the education of students with disabilities by utilizing a collaborative consultation approach when working with schools and districts across the state. Bachelor's degree, at least three years of teaching or related service experience with students with disabilities, 12 graduate hours related to educating students with disabilities or equivalent professional development in research based strategies in special education, certification in special education or credential in a related service (e.g., Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, etc.), and experience providing professional development required. Master's or specialist degree with 2 years' experience or Ph.D. may be substituted. Master's degree preferred.
