-3+ years of previous experience with CREO design software
-Previous job history working in Manufacturing industry (automotive, aerospace, material handling furniture,)
-strong background with GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
-ability to collaborate with multiple engineering departments and strong communication skills
-previous working experience with structural analysis, calculations and stress testing
Plus:
-Bachelor Degree Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a contract CAD Designer to support customer requirement projects as well as assist in Design efforts with multiple Softwares such as Solidworks, CAD or Creo. This Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for requirement development, concept design, analysis, detailed design, drawings, hardware procurement, supplier technical support, test planning and execution, and failure analysis. They will also perform basic structural analysis and technical calculations for manufacturing purposes.
