Role Overview

In the role of Associate/Senior Associate, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team comprising partners, vice presidents, senior operating executives, other associates, analysts, and client resources. Your responsibilities will include:

- Identifying core issues, constructing issue trees, and developing comprehensive work plans to address study objectives.

- Collecting, synthesizing, and analyzing data through primary and secondary research.

- Providing insightful assessments of market opportunities and risks.

- Modeling hypothetical solutions, testing alternative scenarios, and formulating actionable recommendations grounded in factual analysis.

- Crafting clear, compelling written documents and client deliverables.

- Assisting in client presentations and fostering constructive dialogue around insights and proposed solutions.

- Cultivating strong relationships with private equity and portfolio company client team members.

- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

- Contributing to our growth through knowledge sharing, marketing collateral support, and participation in recruiting efforts.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria, with higher experience ranges applicable to Senior Associates:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier institution, coupled with an MBA from a leading business school.

- 3-6 years of experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm, with a focus on industries such as industrials, business services, energy, consumer & retail, and healthcare. Due diligence experience is advantageous.

- Strong grasp of business concepts, including market analysis, financial analysis, operational strategies, and organizational dynamics.

- Proficiency in primary research methodologies, including questionnaire development, online surveys, and conducting insightful interviews.

- Analytical proficiency, with experience in building bottom-up market sizing models.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization and with clients.

- Strategic mindset with meticulous attention to detail, adept at problem-solving using a structured approach.

- Results-oriented and client-focused, capable of thriving in fast-paced environments with limited data availability.

Compensation

The compensation range for the Associate/Senior Associate role is competitive, including a base salary ranging from $135,000 to $205,000, performance-based bonuses, 401(k) retirement plan contributions, discretionary profit-sharing contributions, and comprehensive benefits.
