WOW Logistics is now hiring for a Project Manager!
As a Project Manager you will be a key part of facilitating company-wide improvements and initiatives within the organization. This integral role will be responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle, including: planning/ scope definition, project scheduling, stakeholder communication to drive successful project outcomes, and delivery on time and in budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient coordination and execution of projects aimed at optimizing processes, reducing costs, and enhancing overall supply chain performance.
Responsibilities:
Reviews project requirements and charters
Drafts statements of work including scope
Identifies interdependencies with internal or external departments or service providers, delegates responsibilities, and ensures that work is completed as needed
Manages expectations of all levels of team members involved with the project
Coordinates the work activities including scheduling of cross-functional meetings to facilitate collaboration
Prepares and maintains project plans, including tracking of project progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, and/or other performance indicators
Manages tight deadlines and understand interdependencies between tasks
Prepares reports to senior management, clients, or project stakeholders
Reports and escalates issues and risks to management
Assists with the selection, negotiation, and management of all activities regarding external consultants or vendors as related to projects
Maintains project-related documentation, including contracts, invoices, or payment records
Understands contractual commitments and the related impact to solution design
Inspection of processes and procedures to ensure best practices are adhered to
Audit task completion to ensure the definition of "Done" has been met
Travel as needed
Qualifications:
2-4 years relevant project management experience required; supply chain or IT experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or similar preferred
Demonstrated ability to establish and effectively manage projects, budgets, and timelines
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
Smartsheet experience preferred
SharePoint experience preferred
Microsoft Teams experience preferred
Ability to work independently and within a group environment
Excellent and professional communication skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and handle a variety of complex issues and demand
