About Us:

Our client is a Midwest GC specializing in the education and healthcare sectors. Since starting up over 50 years ago, they have grown significantly year over year and are operating in multiple states throughout the Midwest. They are in search of an experienced Project Manager to assist in this growth.

Role Overview:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from inception to completion. Your duties will include project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractor management, quality control, and client communication. You'll work closely with the team's talented professionals to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Resolve any project issues or conflicts in a timely manner
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, preferably in K-12 and healthcare construction
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
