Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or equivalent work experience
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Computer-related courses (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.)
Must read and interpret project plans and specifications.
Must be able to acquire access to federal facilities.
Responsibilities • Supervise the timely and cost-effective installation of the contracted work of
either the total project or, due to size, scale, and complexity, a particular scope(s),
subcontractor(s), or other portion(s) of the project. • Develop a plan for the sequence of work. • Develop a project schedule. • Plan and organize project work to ensure all work is in place in accordance with contract documents. • Have a working knowledge of owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders. • Know the scheduled delivery dates for all critical path material and equipment. • Update project schedule monthly and in accordance with contract documents. • Control field costs for Plenary and subcontract work. • Supervise the field workforce to ensure all work is done in the most cost-efficient manner. • Schedule and monitor field productivity. • Have good working knowledge of equipment. • Implement a safety program. • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure that all working conditions and work habits comply with company, contract, and government standards. • Take remedial action when required. • Implement the company's safety policies and procedures. • Assist in resolving scope conflicts. • Participate in the project management functions. • Assure the punch list is completed on time. • Participate in marketing proposals and presentations.
