A client of Insight Global is seeking a Mid-Level Product Manager to join their team! This position is 100% remote working EST coast hours (8am-5pm or 9am-6pm) Must Haves: * 3-5 years + of Product Management * Experience supporting a team of back-end developers! o This position is very technical and works with a team of back-end developers. * Experience executing against a road map. o This role is heavy execution! Work very closely with the back-end development team. * Strong communication Day-to-Day: * Our client is at the tail-end of retiring their payments platform. They want to be completely off this platform by October 2025. o Retiring functionality from the back-end platform. o No new functionality. * Heavy execution! o Daily scrum ceremonies. o All backend and more technical day-to-day management of the back-end development team (13 engineers) Ensuring the developers are completing their assigned tasks. Coordinating half of the teams responsibilities (the other half is overseen by their product manager counterpart) Coordinating across teams that will be impacted by functionality being turned off. * Leverages Jira for story writing * Creating user stories o The road maps are well defined o They will be focusing on prioritization of stories and iterations o What is impacted by a dependency o Building test cases * Asks insightful questions and really digs into the ask being made. o Take what the engineers are telling them and translating them to other teams that will be impacted. * Collaborative -- Working with cross-functional teams * Good communication -- Can articulate risks and explain specific milestones. * Strong artifacts We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
