CSP's Accounting & Finance practice has partnered with a well-established subscription services company that is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role will report into the Senior Director of Financial Reporting, and will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial statement supporting workpapers
Interact and communicate with stakeholders to obtain support for required disclosures
Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements related to financial reporting.
Prepare and review all quarterly, annual, and periodic SEC filings in Workiva, including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and other forms, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP standards
Oversee the preparation of accurate and complete financial statements, footnotes, and related disclosures in accordance with SEC requirements
Prepare quarterly fluctuation analysis
Enhance processes and ensure internal controls are performed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Program preferred
3+ years' progressive responsibility in accounting and financial reporting
3+ years' experience working for a Big 4 company preferred
Experience auditing and/or working for publicly traded entities
CPA or CPA candidate preferred
Strong GL accounting skills
Strong knowledge of SEC regulations, US GAAP, SOX compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting
