Job Description: We are seeking an Engine Integration Technician for a contract role, with potential conversion to full-time employment, in Kent, WA. This position involves hands-on assembly and maintenance of advanced turbomachinery and propulsion systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in mechanical activities, precision tooling, and preferably experience with aerospace or automotive engines.
Responsibilities:
Perform assembly, disassembly, testing, and maintenance of turbomachinery.
Use precision measurement and inspection tools to ensure quality and compliance.
Collaborate with teams to design tools and fixtures and provide feedback for process improvements.
Document work processes and results accurately and consistently.
Minimum Qualifications:
3-5 years of mechanical experience, with a preference for candidates closer to 5 years.
Experience with propulsion systems, engines, or turbomachinery highly preferred.
Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
Proficient with hand and power tools, as well as precision measurement tools.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum).
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Advanced experience in propulsion assembly, integration, and testing.
Knowledge of 3D measurement tools and 3D CAD tools (CREO preferred).
Understanding of GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard.
A&P license or equivalent experience in integration and test of propulsion systems.
