Calculated Hire is in search of a Business Execution Consultant I for our Fortune 100 Financial Services company. You will be responsible for the following components:
Job Description
Duties include daily trading profit & loss reporting and analysis/attribution, trade capture, systems and risk management. The candidate will be responsible for all middle office support functions for the energy derivatives middle office related to the financial commodities trading desk. The primary products of support will be futures, swaps, options, swaptions and structured products traded on the exchange as well as OTC.
Participate in or provide support for low complexity initiatives within Business Execution.
Review basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained related to low-risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact in Business Execution.
Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Provide information to client personnel in Business Execution.
Required Qualifications:
6+ months of Business Operations, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, and/or education
Qualifications
Ability to demonstrate quantitative skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to demonstrate written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to organize verbal and written communication to clarify purpose and importance, stress major points and follow a logical sequence.
Ability to comprehend communication from others; attend to and correctly interpret messages then respond appropriately.
Top Skills
3-5 years of professional experience, should have worked on projects in the past and are able to move from task to task.
Know the amount of documentation required by a big bank project.
Project management experience in UAT.
Good Excel skills, can perform v-lookups, x-lookups, pivots, and be able to do analysis on that.
