Position Summary
We are seeking a bilingual motivated Procurement (PS) Specialist intern. The primary focus of this internship will be to assist in the procurement process, particularly in sourcing and translating communications. As an internship position tailored for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, this role is designed to serve as a comprehensive learning experience. It provides a platform for interns to develop essential skills and knowledge within the procurement domain, potentially paving the way for a rewarding career within our organization.
Responsibilities
Assist in various aspects of the procurement process, including but not limited to sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and requirements across different departments
Aid in the creation and maintenance of procurement documentation, including purchase orders, supplier data, contracts and reports
Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function
Assist in negotiating contracts, bids, purchase orders to secure favorable pricing and terms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline translation processes and improve efficiency
Provide interpretation services for procurement activities, if need be
Assist with translating written content from Korean to English
