Kalahari Resorts & Conventions delivers a waterpark resort and conference experience all under one roof. Salary: $50,000 - $60,000, plus a 10% bonus potential
We are inviting you to apply for our open General Manager - The Last Bite role. In this position, you will control all aspects of the retail end of the candy shop within the resort. The general manager will manage a high-volume store and be excellent at retail merchandising, driving ad-on sales, be aware of store performance, be an educated buyer and smart scheduler.
To perform well in the position, you would:

Can constantly stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch. You are constantly required to reach and grasp. You would frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Shift gears quickly and seamlessly.
Lead, train and coach a team of full and part-time associates.
Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems, as necessary.
Make independent decisions while maintaining strong ethical standards consistent with company policy and organizational rules.
Be able to work well in an unsupervised or high-pressure setting.
Ensure a wide variety of items are available for the guests to purchase and that store/shop shelves are fully stocked daily.
Challenge associates to be friendly and to provide suggestions to guests.
Uphold all Kalahari initiatives, sales goals, and contest goals to show a selling culture in the stores/shops.
We do require that you have experience consisting of experience in retail and guest service and have at least three years of supervisory experience.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a salaried position, with various work hours and days, based on business needs. This position often requires evening, weekend, and holiday work.
