A great UHY client is seeking a Fixed Asset Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidates will have advanced Excel skills, Oracle/EBS experience, and previous fixed asset management experience.
The Fixed Asset Supervisor role is a hybrid position, with 2 days each week being in office. This is a client direct hire position.
Fixed Asset Supervisor Responsibilities
Maintain and update the fixed asset register for all assets in the Americas region.
Conduct regular physical asset verifications and reconcile with accounting records.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies related to fixed assets.
Assist in obtaining and maintaining fixed asset incentives.
Lead and supervise a team responsible for fixed asset tracking and accounting.
Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Generate periodic reports on fixed assets, depreciation, and capital expenditures.
Collaborate with the Finance team in preparing financial statements and reports related to fixed assets.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the annual capital budget.
Present capital budget status updates to the executive leadership team.
Identify opportunities for process improvement in fixed asset management.
Implement best practices to enhance efficiencies and accuracy in asset tracking.
Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations related to fixed assets.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements for fixed assets.
Collaborate with other departments, including Operations and Procurement, to gather information and ensure accurate recording of fixed assets.
Fixed Asset Supervisor Qualifications
This job requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in fixed asset management and accounting are required.
Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role are preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are required.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required.
Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn are essential.
Ability to travel within the US up to 10% is required.
Experience with Oracle software is a plus.
