Job Duties: Technician will report to the Inventory Manager.
Will provide day-to-day labor and operations of the customer warehouse.
Work responsibilities include receiving, shipping configuration, disposal, equipment breakdown and inventory of computer hardware and related equipment at customer sites.
Education: High school diploma/GED required.
Skills Required: • Demonstrated and developed organizational skills. • Prefer that they have some experience in a warehouse environment. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Exceptional customer service skills, including experience handling challenging customers and conflict resolution. • Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear; use hands to finger; handle; or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop; kneel; or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception. • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Technicians' responsibilities: • Maintain Critical IS Warehouse Databases and Records • Breakdown and track disposal of all equipment • Receive and inventory all computer equipment that is delivered to the warehouse. • Configure, troubleshoot, and repair equipment based upon its configuration requirements.

• Record and track all shipments of computer equipment to sites and to IS technicians. • Maintain and comply with proper procedures for disposal of computer equipment at end of life. • Provide quality customer service and serve as an exemplary representative of MGB Information Systems. On-going communication, feedback and follow-through with customers/peers is essential. • Occasional after hours and weekend work to perform tasks that cannot be done during business hours. • Participate on-call when necessary. • Learn and back up other IS Warehouse/IS Customer Service positions as needed. • All additional duties as assigned.
