This company is currently looking for a Documentation Specialist for our Stafford, Texas operation. They are a master distributor of industry recognized valves.
The Documentation Admin role involves maintaining and organizing essential documentation in a dynamic work environment. Primary responsibilities include filing, scanning, and archiving new Test Reports, as well as verifying, uploading, and printing Test Reports for incoming and outgoing materials.
The ideal candidate for the Documentation Admin role should exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication is crucial, both in writing and orally, along with active listening skills. The candidate should be self-motivated and independent while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Problem-solving abilities and a quick-learning disposition are key. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform Documentation management tasks such as filing, scanning, and archiving new Test Reports.
Verify, upload, and print Test Reports for all incoming and outgoing material.
Communicate with Internal Departments and Vendors to source and produce Test Reports.
Generate hard copies and electronic copies for all applicable documentation.
Cross train with Logistics to schedule freight for outbound shipments when required.
Perform other work-related tasks as assigned by the manager.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Associates or above preferred.
2+ years of Warehousing or Distribution experience preferred.
1+ years of Experience with Controlled Document Management and issuance.
