Job Overview: We are currently seeking Test Engineers to join our team on a contract basis with the possibility of conversion to full-time employment based on performance and business needs. These roles are critical for the development, qualification, and testing of advanced mechanical and fluid systems.
Location: Onsite-Kent, WA
Compensation: $55/HR
Responsibilities:
Plan and execute test campaigns for mechanical, hydraulic, cryogenic, and pneumatic systems, from initial design through to production.
Develop and maintain detailed test procedures, conduct test readiness reviews, and perform pre-test briefings.
Collaborate closely with design and operations engineers to integrate tests into existing systems and platforms.
Identify and procure necessary test fixtures, support equipment, and data acquisition systems.
Focus on enhancing test efficiency while maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in component testing and data analysis.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project schedules simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively across all levels of the organization.
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Must be a U.S. person (citizen or permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee).
Desired Skills:
Experience in the aerospace, satellites, aircraft, motorsports, or oil & gas industries.
Technical expertise with pressurized systems (up to 6000psi), including cryogenic and hydraulic components.
Proficiency with various sensors and instrumentation, data acquisition, and automation systems.
Familiarity with environmental testing standards such as MIL-STDs and SMC-S-016.
Experience with precision cleaning of hardware and systems.
