Job Title: Engine Integration Technician II - A Shift
Compensation: $42.00 per hour
Location: Onsite - Kent, WA
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (A Shift).
Technical Skills Needed:
Strong mechanical background, preferably in aerospace or automotive mechanics.
Experience with precision tooling, especially in aerospace applications.
Knowledge and experience with propulsion systems, engines, or turbomachinery highly preferred.
3-5 years of mechanical experience, with a preference for candidates closer to 5 years.
Responsibilities:
Perform hands-on assembly and maintenance of advanced engine turbomachinery.
Participate in the assembly, disassembly, testing, and design of tools and fixtures related to turbomachinery.
Provide critical feedback to enhance process control, capability, and repeatability.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with assembly of turbomachinery, propulsion systems, aircraft or automotive engines, or other highly technical machinery.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand technical manuals and detailed work instructions.
Strong mechanical skills with the ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years' experience in propulsion assembly, integration, and testing.
Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Experience with precision inspection tools and critical sealing surface requirements.
A&P license or experience in integration and test of propulsion systems.
Experience with 3D measurement tools and CAD software, with a preference for knowledge in GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standards.
