FORTNA is seeking an ERP Support Engineer to maintain and enhance FORTNA's ERP platforms and to provide user assistance.


The candidate has a proven track record engaging with users on a day-to-day basis as well as showcasing in-depth knowledge of ERP platforms and its interaction with other systems via integrations, enabling the candidate to provide effective support for both ad-hoc day-to-day support and to contribute and add value to ERP projects and enhancements.


As a member of FORTNA's Technology team, the candidate is a natural communicator, enjoying interacting with fellow employees and users and is excited having the opportunity to work in cross functional project teams to deliver value to FORTNA by implementing new ERP projects, solutions, and enhancements.



Responsibilities and Duties



  • Provide 1st and 2nd level service desk support for FORTNA's existing ERP and integration platforms, including taking ownership of tickets until successful resolution.

  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and provides resolution to incidents. Coordinates with impacted business users.

  • Engages and interacts with external 3rd level support resources when required for incident resolution.

  • Performs root cause analysis on incidents and documents findings.

  • Performs routine maintenance, patch updates, and day-to-day maintenance work on all ERP and integration platforms.

  • Adheres to FORTNA's change management process.

  • Manages user accounts and performs recurring user and permission audits.

  • Monitors ERP and integration logs and resolves errors, when required.

  • Documents and maintains systems configurations.

  • Develops documentation material and delivers training.

  • Engages in a supporting role in various phases of implementation or enhancements projects, ranging from performing configuration changes, testing, data migration, documenting to training.

  • Takes a leading role in the end-to-end execution of smaller enhancement requests to FORTNA's ERP and integration platforms.

  • Adheres to FORTNA's department policies and procedures to ensure controls are in place and defined processes are followed.

  • Stays up to date on FORTNA's ERP and integration product roadmaps.

  • Other duties as assigned.




Qualifications and Skills



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, Information Systems or related business field.

  • 3 years' experience supporting ERP platforms, preferably Infor LN, IQMS, or Navision.

  • Strong analytical core competency and attention to detail are expected.

  • Ability to understand and absorb ERP platform specific data structures is a prerequisite.

  • Ability to query data sources using T-SQL query language is preferred.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills are a prerequisite. The candidate must be comfortable at multitasking during times of conflicting priorities, concurrent problems, and pressure from business users.

  • ERP related business process experience in Finance, Projects, Engineering, Procurement, Warehousing, and Manufacturing is preferred.

  • Understanding how company business processes are intertwined with ERP and integration systems.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing.

  • Ability to translate complex ideas into simple language for non-technical employees.

  • Competency in Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with all levels of the organization.



The base salary range for this role is $55,800 to $83,700. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
