Location: Aulander, NC

Salary: $125,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Large poultry processing organization is looking for a Live Operations Manager for a complex in north-eastern NC



****candidates must have live operations management experience in deal with boiler birds (not layers)



Relocation assistance is available (this company does not sponsor or relocate candidates from outside of the US)



Summary ~



This role manages and provides direction for the Live Production operations necessary to support the plant processing locations, including competitive performance, budgeting, planning, scheduling and maintaining compliance in a safe manner, and for compliance with all local, county, state and federal regulations as they relate to poultry production.



Responsibilities ~



•Communicates effectively with subordinates, peers and senior management and non-company personnel to ensure performance and resolution of problems.


•Develops, implements and monitors Live Production budgets


•Complies and follows company requirements regarding bio-security, food safety and poultry welfare programs and policies at all times.


•May travel to Growout facilities, poultry houses and/or research farms monitoring conditions to ensure bird health.



Requirements ~



•5 plus years of relevant experience.


•Must have a valid driver's license.


•Be able to travel by vehicle to producer's farms, hatcheries, processing or other company and non-company locations as required in the course of day today business.


•Poultry husbandry and management experience.
