Position Summary

We're seeking a dynamic, visionary leader to head our Office of the Chief Data and Information Officer (OCDIO). This role involves strategic, technical, and operational leadership, and is key in shaping the Information and Data Solution (IDS) organization's strategy and performance.

The Vice President of OCDIO will support the IDS strategy, governance, and performance management, focusing on value realization for business growth. This role is crucial in shaping the organization's strategic direction, improving operational efficiency, leading digital scaling, and managing performance. The VP will collaborate closely with the CDIO, IDS Leadership Team, and key business stakeholders to integrate the IDS strategy into the overall CBI strategy.

Success in this role involves building strong relationships across Constellation Brands, aligning IDS initiatives with business objectives, and enhancing the IDS's strategic position. This role is about leading and shaping our organization's future through strategic innovation, effective execution, and robust collaboration. The VP of OCDIO will be a change catalyst, a capability incubator, and a strategic leader. The individual will play a strong role in building a high performing OCDIO organization that will help achieve the above objectives and also help this individual operate in a strategic and highly effective manner.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute IDS Strategy, governance, and performance management initiatives, with a team managing the following functions:

    • Project Management Office

    • IDS Communications

    • Agile Chapter – Process, Standards Development

    • Supplier and Contract Management

    • IDS Finance and Budgeting

    • IDS Governance and Performance Management



  • Drive digital transformation effort within the organization, focusing on operating model and performance management to enhance digital proficiency across the enterprise.

  • Support the organization to achieve financial success, ensuring investments align with business growth objectives while optimizing cost efficiency.

  • Support the management of ongoing forecasting and reporting of the financial performance related to technology programs and the entire operation.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that support business objectives.

  • Manage external supplier and contract governance, ensuring alignment organization needs and standards.

  • Serve as a thought leader for IDS and ensuring consistent application of industry trends and best practices.

  • Experience in leading and developing an organization of ~25 employees.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer sciences or equivalent, MBA preferred

  • At least 5 years’ experience at the VP level, leading/managing a successful, customer focused technology organization or business organization

  • Minimum of 15 years of IT/Business Related experience

  • Strong understanding of information, technology and data management principles

  • High energy level, demonstrated drive to success and a sense of urgency

  • Excellent proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence, collaborate and develop productive relationships across all levels of the enterprise

  • Experience managing budgets, contracts and external vendors

  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector preferred.

  • Experience in a non-technology role to be able to better understand business stakeholders and partners is an added plus.

The salary range for this role is:

$210,900.00 - $351,500.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
