Pay Range*: $20.00/hr-$25.47/hr

Position Summary

Responsible for patient transportation services throughout the hospital. In addition, performs cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfection functions in assigned areas following the established cleaning schedules, and by utilizing the appropriate cleaning methods, while maintaining a safe work environment. Assists in other housekeeping duties as prescribed by the department manager, supervisor, and/or lead person. Responsible for the materials and equipment assigned for the performance of the daily duties and functions. Training is given for the use of all equipment, chemicals, and cleaning procedures for the Housekeeping department.

1. Demonstrate the ability to safely and competently provide care and prevention in emergency situations.

2. Demonstrate the ability to safely transport patients and adhere to established guidelines for patient transportations.

3. Demonstrate the ability to competently utilize departmental specific equipment.

4. Ability to follow through when given directions.

5. Ability to prioritize workload efficiently.

6. Preforms other related duties as assigned or requested.

7. Ability to be at work and on time

8. Ability to follow company policies, procedures and directives.

9. Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner.

10. Ability to prioritize and multitask.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. • Previous hospital experience is preferred

Education/Licensure/Certification:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) from American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

• High School Diploma preferred
