Job Description:

Manager, Technology wanted by Crowley Maritime Corporation, Jacksonville, FL.

Job Responsibilities:

Acts as a technical expert and leads the team to identify, develop and implement the technology road map to achieve business goals for clients to solve complex business problems;

Understands technical requirements and collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, develop and test the proposed solution to ensure successful implementation and delivery;

Adapts and executes functional or departmental business plans and contributes to the development of functional or departmental strategies;

Conducts reviews of customer business requirements, use cases, architecture, code, and other components within the customer environment to identify issues and make recommendations to remediate issues to meet the customer's needs;

Identifies new and emerging hardware/software technologies and products, and assesses their relevance and value to the organization;

Provides technical guidance and mentorship to team members involved in building innovative technical components;

Develops and implements best practices for software and system architecture; and

Reviews and approves work performed by team members and 3rd party vendors.

Job Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or a related field, plus five (5) years of progressive experience in any occupation which includes the required experience and skills . Experience must include:

5 years of experience with design, development, and implementation of software applications;

5 years of experience with Oracle ERP or HCM project implementations as a technical lead developer;

3 years of management experience leading a team of developers;

2 years of experience with data conversions, integrations, and writing reports; and

2 full ERP or HCM Oracle Cloud project implementations completed

May work from home office located anywhere within reasonable commuting distance from company's HQ in Jacksonville, FL.N/A
