HBCD Research Specialist

Oversee and coordinate data collection for a large NIH funded trial of infant and child neural development, with direction from Principal Investigator. Use technical expertise to develop systems for accurate data collection, complex analysis, training, and evaluation based on lab priorities. Support interdepartmental and cross-site collaboration for assessment domains lead by UVM researchers including Neurocognition & Language development. Provide functional supervision for staff involved in data collection.
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, early education or closely related discipline and at least five years' of clinical research experience required. Effective communication skills and computer proficiency are required.
Master's degree in relevant field and managerial experience in research. Experience with research administration (regulatory communications and budget management), and involvement with large, multi-center studies.
$48,000 to $58,000/year. Actual hiring pay dependent on comparable campus peer(s) at time of hire, and candidate's experience level and length.
Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, Contingent on continued funding, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
