Under the administrative direction of the Diagnostic Manager and Clinical Lead Tech, the Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and students assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
Effective communication skills/ability to build rapport with others. Organizational skills to work in an efficient, orderly fashion. Computer proficient and ability to quickly gain competency in various hospital software applications.
Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology training program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRC/ERT) required.
Licensure with the Department of Public Health to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Massachusetts required. Registration or registration eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required, for Radiography. Must be registered within 12 months of hire.
Preferred:
Previous work experience as Cath/EP lab Radiologic Technologist preferred.
