Position Overview:



Adams & Martin Group is pleased to partner with a highly reputable defense law firm in Atlanta, GA, seeking a seasoned Legal Assistant. This critical role requires a minimum of three years of legal assistant experience, specifically within a defense law environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and proficiency in e-filing through platforms such as PeachCourt, Odyssey, and PACER. This position is suited for a detail-oriented professional who excels in docketing, calendaring, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.



Responsibilities:

• Manage e-filing procedures across various systems including PeachCourt, Odyssey, and PACER.


• Efficiently handle docketing and calendaring to ensure compliance with all legal timelines and deadlines.


• Assist with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence.


• Maintain organized case files and assist in managing case progress.


• Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, depositions, and other legal events.


• Liaise with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.


• Provide additional administrative support such as data entry and document management as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years' experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably within a defense law firm.


• Proficiency in e-filing on platforms like PeachCourt, Odyssey, and PACER is essential.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Profound attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


• Familiarity with legal document preparation and revision.


• Advanced proficiency with legal software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
