We are looking for a Paid Social Manager with experience and passion for performance marketing and digital marketing strategy. The ideal candidate is social media obsessed, self-motivated, and extremely detail oriented. This role will be responsible for the design and execution of JD Finish Line paid social campaign strategies, funnel builds and ongoing optimizations within the ads platforms, manage budgets, and work on account analysis/reporting to contribute to the overall campaign Strategy. The role requires a natural self-starter. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to collaborate with our in-house creative/brand/organic social teams to formulate strategic media plans for our brand. The ideal Paid Social Media Manager candidate is creatively-minded and performance-driven, a strong collaborator, and an all-around figure-it-out-er. Applicants should have an in-depth understanding of paid social advertising, e-commerce/retail marketing experience, and an aptitude for analyzing data and identifying performance trends. Responsibilities:
Own the paid social relationship - driving weekly agendas, asking the right questions to ensure our agency is always delivering to the right KPIs, identifying insights hand in hand with agency partners - knowing how to interpret and apply data from live dashboard - sharing actionable takeaways with Marketing Leadership Team on a weekly basis
Design the strategy, vision, and roadmap to generate high quality conversions via Paid Social channels and work closely with other channel managers to drive efficiencies
Be audience obsessed - help to develop our CRM segmentation approaches, optimizing to LTV and plugging into the seasonal merch priorities
Through careful testing and data-driven optimizations, you'll generate demonstrably ROI-positive performance and fuel growth for various product lines
Build testing plans and implement testing initiatives in key areas such as campaign structure, creatives, audiences, and placements
Liaise with our organic social, brand and creative teams to plan, source, and test content for ad testing
Manages the relationship with 3rd party vendors such as Facebook and Twitter.
Monitors daily optimizations for continuous improvement including: campaign intake, campaign builds, bid management, target audiences definition, ad copywriting, A/B testing, budget forecasting, campaign reporting, and analysis
Provide recommendations to key stakeholders based on paid media expertise, current trends, and business priorities
Champion the use of data to drive useful insights: Track paid social channel performance through definition of goals, tracking events, etc and analyze performance data and provide intelligent analysis, interpretation and appropriate action plans based on data-driven conclusions
Advanced working knowledge of all primary social media channels with an eye towards emerging trends and platforms
Manage and execute campaigns across multiple social channels such as Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat and other emerging platforms.
Communicate effectively with the team, staying accountable, highlighting wins, losses, and learning insights
Build and sustain rapport with our brand partners
Generate new coop opportunities through strategic audits, and development of paid advertising pipeline
Translate technical concepts into actionable, tactical, and strategic action plans
Manage tags and pixels, product feeds, and audiences as they pertain to each channel
Required Education and/or Experience:
4+ years of paid media experience actively managing ads on Meta, TikTok, Snapchat
Expertise with ad copywriting, creative best practices, and audience segmentation
Comfortable using Excel and Google Analytics to analyze data, extract insights, and present recommendations to influence strategic decisions
Advanced campaign management experience required for paid social, including the ability to optimize bids, budgets, and targeting based on performance data and campaign metrics
Experienced with whitelisting and leveraging UGC / Influencer content to drive ad performance
Strong understanding and application of conversion tracking and pixel management
Foundational understanding of attribution and how certain channels support the overall marketing program
B2C advertising experience required
eComm experience required
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, organized, and able to work autonomously
Strong understanding of the online advertising industry and social media landscape
Experience with analyzing paid media results and finding data insights for external reporting
Interest and knowledge in the fashion and retail industry
Start-up experience is a plus
Agency experience is a plus
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills:
Excellent computer skills, including intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. High degree of internet savvy, with a curiosity and enthusiasm for digital and media trends.
Intermediate experience and understand of design process
Intermediate understanding of print and digital production processes
Familiarity with agile workflow
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

Employees may be asked to perform additional duties outside of normal job scope on a temporary basis per the company policy. Pay range: $85,000 - $105,000 (Depending on Experience); 15% bonus target. This role will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401k, sick leave, parental leave, and company paid time off plan.
