Job Description

The Director of Product will oversee the entire product development lifecycle for the Digital Product Organization. This individual will bring their passion for being customer-obsessed and a well-grounded product management perspective. In this role, the Director of Product will work closely with the Sr. Director of Product to align and communicate the product vision and strategy and build a robust strategic roadmap. This role will define strategy and priorities by collaborating with internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

  • You are developing the product roadmaps based on the functional gap areas, strategic vision, and goals that you will contribute to forming and nurturing.
  • Owning key stakeholder relationships across Engineering, Vendor Partners, Customer Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Analytics.
  • Owning & contributing to the product roadmap, discovery, and scope development by forming hypotheses, defining objectives and key results, and assessing options that will provide the best outcomes.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to define scalable solutions for current and future product needs.
  • Responsible for product planning, feature prioritization, and execution for the entire product lifecycle
  • Develop, grow, mentor, and direct a team of passionate product owners.
  • Implement test-and-learn frameworks to continuously improve and iterate on product capabilities from MVP to national rollout and beyond.
  • Work closely with software engineering leaders to define product requirements and coordinate resources from key stakeholders.
  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further optimizing these processes.
  • Responsible for developing training and effectively communicating organizational change to all stakeholders
  • Responsible for defining, implementing, and tracking product KPIs
  • Use data-driven decision-making to identify opportunities and track product performance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of previous Product Management experience with Agile development, working directly with IT/Engineering and business stakeholders.
  • A highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a proven ability to manage and execute against multiple workstreams to solve complex problems.
  • An assertive person with strong communication and collaboration skills should be able to simplify complex ideas, navigate cross-functional teams, build relationships, influence decisions, and deliver on shared objectives.
  • I have demonstrated an ability to define problems, analyze data and processes to identify creative solutions and drive incremental improvement.
  • A good balance of understanding business processes and technical and functional knowledge.
