• Perform feasibility study based on customer requirements; • Full lifecycle of product development for metal tubular products; • Conduct analysis of connections including FEA, and physical testing; • Support the Commercial and Marketing departments as needed; • Prepare technical presentations for internal stakeholders and external customers; • Prepare testing protocols for new and existing products; • Supervise testing of new and existing products;
REQUIREMENTS • Experience with R&D for OCTG Tubular Products and threaded connections; • Desired knowledge in OCTG Standards; • Masters or PhD degrees are preferred; • Previous experience as metallurgists, process engineers or R&D engineers for the steel industry, knowledge about steel applications and steel formulation; • 5-10 years experience, academic experience would be considered;
