Radiologic Technologist Opportunity:

Talentwell is hiring multiple Radiologic Technologists for one of the largest not for profit health systems in the Southeast area of Texas. We are looking to hire multiple technologists to work in the Pearland, TX area. Previous experience in cath lab required.

  • Full-time permanent role; works directly with the hospital from day one
  • Pay: $76,000-$124,000/year salary based on experience and tenure
  • Partial relocation available

  • Position works out of a hospital imaging department in the Cardiac Cath Lab

Radiologic Technologist Essential Job Functions:
  • Performs special/invasive radiology procedures on patients ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures
  • Prepares patients for exam, explains procedure, administers contrast when necessary, positions patients for the exam, selects appropriate imaging techniques, and ensures technical quality of the images.
  • Enters and monitors patient data.
  • Performs quality assurance on radiology equipment. May assist with initial and renewal application for ACR and other accreditation.
  • Identifies and reports any accidents, complaints or equipment malfunction to department management.
  • Takes emergency call within the department.
  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
  • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Radiologic Technologist Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • 1 year experience in radiologic technology within cath lab required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)

Radiologic Technologist Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order to perform job functions
