Cambium Analytica is the scientific partner for analytical testing, product development, and quality assurance services for the natural foods, botanical products, natural pharmaceuticals, and dietary supplement industries.
Position Overview:
Cambium Analytica is seeking a highly motivated laboratory technician to perform duties related to processing samples and other related duties. The laboratory technician will work on analytical balances, homogenization equipment, and analytical instruments. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
This is a second-shift position, working four days a week with 10-hour shifts, scheduled from Monday to Friday, starting at 5:00 pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Process samples
Homogenization and organization of samples by properly using equipment
Prepare samples for laboratory analysis
Assist with maintenance and inventory management
Perform all aspects of assigned technical processes
Work cooperatively in a team environment, supporting leadership and coworkers
Follow good documentation practices such as maintaining a formal notebook, completing bench sheets, maintaining traceability documents, etc.
Assist in ensuring compliance with strict quality, regulatory, and company standards as well as work within a GMP and ISO environment
Perform other related duties
Perform instrument QC and preventative maintenance
Gain further understanding of experimental principles by reading appropriate literature
Present data for review and discussion at individual and group laboratory meetings
Understand the experimental goals and results and provide feedback and basic troubleshooting as necessary
Provide physical maintenance in the laboratory, as required
Review and update SOPs, tracking logs, and material/reagent specifications under design control processes, as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and leadership
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
