Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Concrete Construction Estimator to assess construction projects, analyze costs, and prepare accurate estimates for concrete construction work. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of concrete construction methods, materials, and pricing, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:
Review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand project requirements
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work, quantities, and materials required
Identify and quantify costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for concrete construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop cost-effective solutions and value engineering options
Participate in bid meetings, negotiations, and presentations with clients and subcontractors
Maintain accurate records of project estimates, changes, and communications
Monitor industry trends, pricing, and market conditions to stay informed of changes that may impact project costs
Required Skills/Abilities
Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and techniques
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
Proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field (preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a construction estimator, with a focus on concrete construction projects preferred
Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator) are a plus
