Derflan has an urgent role to fill for an experienced Launch, Marketing Project Manager for an initial contract through June 30, 2024, with the potential to extend for FY25. This part-time role, requires Microsoft expertise and entails coordinating v-team meetings, managing communications, and overseeing project documentation and tracking. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, experience with Microsoft launches, Change Management expertise, advanced PowerPoint proficiency, and excellent communication abilities, all while thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Start: asap
End: initial contract through June 30, 2024, if all goes well, potential to extend for FY25
Hours: 25 hr/wk - preferred working days Tue, Wed, Thu when most people are in office, but would appreciate a quick check of email on Mon/Fri in case of occasional urgent requests.
Salary: based on annual full time salary of $147,000 - which would be prorated for the part time hours
Location: Hybrid, if possible. Would be great if could come onsite occasionally to build network and relationships

Responsibilities include:
Meeting logistics and execution:
Prepare slide decks for the 2 v-team meetings - get decks to 90% complete and polished so FTE can add their spin and finalize
Set up logistics for v-team meeting -- send invite, make sure deck is ready and posted.
Attend meeting to take notes and track action items.
Follow up on action items from meetings to completion Comfortable presenting status updates/follow up on action items in front of larger v-teams
Communications:
Manage creation of the monthly status update newsletter including calls for content, follow up for key items, copyediting to ensure flow and active links, drop into proper template and ensure formatting is set up correctly, send for internal review. Get to 90% complete and polished to hand off to FTE for final review and to add their commentary.
Provide input on the communication plan for Change Management. Help drive execution once plan is created.
Project Management, documentation, and tracking:
Maintain a tracker and reach out to activity owners for updates
Maintain the plan of record for Marketing perspective
Be proactive and persistent with follow up and identifying risks
Track an issue log / risk management
Help facilitate discussions around risk and issues
Skills/experience required:
Strong Project Management skills
Prior experience working on a Microsoft launch, preferably with Windows, M365, Office, and/or OEM experience
Experience with Change Management
Advanced PowerPoint skills
Basic design skills - for example, to create a header graphic in PPT or other app for a newsletter template
Strong communication skills - written and verbal
Comfortable presenting status updates in front of larger v-teams
Ability to work/thrive in a fast-paced environment.
