LHH is exclusively recruiting for a Senior Accountant for a client in the healthcare manufacturing industry. This role is primarily remote but REQUIRES someone to be living in Albuquerque or Rio Rancho (N.M.) This team has a wonderful leader who is smart and engaging. The hope is for this position to promote to a supervisor/lead. Our client offers an excellent benefit package including a 10% annual bonus. The target base salary for this position is up to 70k.
Responsibilities: • General Ledger account reconciliations • Journal Entries • Financial Statement preparation • Cost accounting • Data analysis • Internal controls (SOX shop) • Research around financial topics and changing laws and regulations • Other projects as assigned
Experience Requirement: • 3+ years of accounting • Experience with SOX, internal audit, public accounting or a publicly traded company highly desired • Experience in manufacturing preferred • Ability to work independent and effectively manage diverse responsibilities in a timely manner • Accurate and organized with attention to detail • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivots, macros, etc.)
Education Requirement: • Bachelor's Degree focused in Accounting or Finance
