Job Description This position reports to the Plant Foreman and is responsible for safe and productive operation of all plant and mobile machinery to facilitate production. The hours are 6am - 6pm, 4 days a week.
Specific Responsibilities
Operating mobile equipment as required for assigned tasks (forklift, loader, extend boom, semi-truck).
Operation of bulk bagger, capping & wrapping bags, staging product in designated areas.
Plant and yard clean-up as needed to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Repair of pallets and bags as needed.
Reporting any manufacturing incidents to the lead/supervisor.
Perform daily machinery and equipment inspections.
Following the lead /supervisor directions and instructions in all tasks to ensure that SAFETY goals and production goals and demands are met.
Equipment experience (loaders, forklifts) preferred but not required.
Must maintain good attendance, available for overtime and extra shifts as needed.
Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
Authorized to work in the United States.
