Our client, a plus-size women's brand, is looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team for a 7 month contract to cover a maternity leave! This role will work primarily remote but must be local to the greater Los Angeles area to visit the office as needed.
Responsibilities:
Lead the department, overseeing all activities and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives
Manage marketing leads and teams, setting objectives, reviewing performance, and facilitating professional development
Direct the planning, execution, and management of in-store events, ensuring they align with broader marketing strategies and business goals
Establish and maintain high-level partnerships and collaborations to enhance event reach and impact
Evaluate store event performance, integrating learnings into broader marketing strategy and planning
Oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive social media strategy, ensuring it supports the company's overall marketing objectives
Oversee social media content creation, scheduling, and analysis, ensuring brand consistency and engagement
Monitor social media trends and industry best practices to guide strategy adjustments and innovations
Oversee the partnerships with key influencers, aligning efforts with the company's brand and marketing goals
Oversee influencer campaigns, from concept to execution, ensuring they deliver on agreed objectives and provide valuable insights for future campaigns
Strategic marketing plans including store events, social media, and influencer marketing initiatives
Comprehensive performance reports detailing achievements against KPIs and ROI across all marketing activities
Leadership and development plans for marketing managers and teams
Achievements in brand visibility, market share growth, and customer engagement metrics
Performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives across all channels
Leadership effectiveness in managing teams, processes, and budgets to achieve marketing goals
Attend biweekly meetings with the CMO for progress updates
Attend weekly leadership meetings for updates and new information
Attend global marketing and cross-functional meetings as needed
Host weekly team meetings with Social/PR Team
Host monthly check-ins with team leads
Required Qualifications:
Degree in marketing / digital marketing / social media marketing or equivalent experience
5+ years' experience in social/influencer marketing for a lifestyle brand
Prior experience managing a team
Digital marketing/paid digital experience preferred
Illustrator/photoshop experience preferred
Copywriting
Voice of the brand/ Brand relevance - understands, knows, and can represent the brand
Calendars/Planning/ Scheduling
Content Asset management and wrangling
Highly organized with excellent communication skills
