Our client, a well-known apparel company, is looking for an Iteration Manager to join their team for a remote, 12-month contract. This position will be remote.
Pay: Up to $43/hour
Responsibilities:
Coaches the team on Agile values and practices for continuous improvement.
Keeps track of team progress and metrics.
Encourages small, regular releases and prioritizing tasks based on their value and risk.
Helps with communication inside and outside the team.
Works with project leaders to ensure the team meets standards and tackles problems.
Creates urgency to meet project goals.
Improves team productivity and prioritizes tasks.
Runs effective meetings and ensures commitments are met.
Helps the team make good decisions and removes obstacles.
Organizes regular reviews to improve performance.
Looks for ways to speed up feedback and improve processes.
Helps set and maintain team standards and practices.
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree
IT experience with IT Project Management experience
ScrumMaster experience and certification a plus
Preferred to have experience with distributed development teams which span multiple geographies, time zones and cultures.
Preferred to have direct experience in a Web, Java, XML, RDBMS development environment.
Must have experience overseeing project teams with at least 10 team members.
