Our client is a global investment management firm specializing in alternative real assets. They boast +$40bn in assets under management, including a sizeable portfolio of renewable energy and clean infrastructure projects.
Specifically, our client's legal team is looking to hire a Transactional Counsel to support clean energy transactions for the fund, with a focus on the development, acquisition, financing and structuring of renewable energy and clean infra projects. This person will be joining an established legal team of 8 attorneys based in Chicago.
Requirements:
2-5 years of legal experience at a top-tier law firm or reputable/established company
Representative experience relating to renewable energy or infrastructure transactions
Deep knowledge of project finance, M&A and/or offtake transactions is highly preferred
J.D. from an accredited law school and member of at least one state bar
This person must be based in Chicago and able/willing to be in their office 3-4 days per week.
