This is a full-time, on-site role for a Laboratory Technician II. This role is responsible for completing daily sampling of product in order to for Daybrook's Lab to compile, analyze, and report quality data to Quality Management and Plant Management to aid in the optimization of a world leading quality product.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, or Food Science)
Laboratory Equipment and Laboratory Skills
Experience in quality control and analytical skills
Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment
Experience in managing and leading a team
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Performance Areas
Instrumentation
Assure instrumentation is functioning and clean when pulling composite samples.
Assure that the air/water separator for the compressed air line that cleans the lens is working properly.
Alert Lab Management immediately when instrumentation related to Pro-Foss is faulting
Quality Sampling
Product samples are pulled according the schedule set by Lab Management and Plant Management, composited, and the composite is analyzed on a shift basis.
Data is reported to Lab Manager and put into the Daily Lab Report
Certificate of Analysis
This position is trained to complete documentation for COA's when needed.
