Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Manager of Mechanical Engineering. This Hands-on Manager will be responsible for leading a team in the development and delivery of mechanical engineering projects for an affordable, user-friendly insulin delivery system. This includes the oversight of day-to-day tasks of the engineering team, managing projects from conception to completion, and providing technical guidance and support. You will be adept at SolidWorks and eager to participate in design projects. This is an on-site role located in San Diego, CA.
Requirements:
Experience in a Mechanical Engineering Management or Team Lead capacity
Mechanical Engineering
Project Management and Team Leadership skills
High level of SolidWorks Proficiency
At ease in a Designer/Manager blended function.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in the medical device industry
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
