Endeavor Agency (www.endeavorCRE.com) is a commercial real estate talent agency providing high touch recruitment services throughout California and major western US cities. Endeavor has engaged with a privately held growth-oriented real estate company focused on acquiring, developing, owning and operating commercial real estate class-A office assets along with some flex-industrial as well. Headquartered in Newport Beach, they have a strong footprint on the western half of the country. They are looking for an Asset Manager to add to their Phoenix team. In this pivotal role, you'll be managing the company's diverse portfolio of assets, mainly focusing on office and industrial as well as mixed-use spaces. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, you'll also lead a team of analysts and property managers, working together to execute the company's strategic business plan. This opportunity goes beyond just Asset Management. You'll have the chance to dabble in Acquisitions and Development as well, broadening your expertise and impact within the company. Responsibilities:
  • Implement asset-level strategies to be consistent with regional strategy and company objectives.
  • Manage tenant improvement and capital expenditure projects from conception to completion.
  • Manage the process of selecting architects, engineers, contractors and other consultants required for the project, including reviewing proposals, negotiating terms of agreements and drafting contracts.
  • Manage architects, engineers and consultants throughout the construction process.
  • Manage the construction progress of tenant improvement and capital expenditure projects to ensure all projects are completed on-time, on-budget and consistent with construction documents.
  • Interface with the accounting department to manage all accounting aspects of the assigned assets.
  • Manage the leasing process including interfacing with brokers, negotiating proposals and leases as well as evaluating credit worthiness of prospective tenants.
  • Manage assigned assets to maximize long-term cash flow, including monitoring asset budget to actuals and comparing to market.
  • Manage loan compliance related to leasing requirements and assist Senior Vice President on all other property level financing.
  • Develop and maintain active relationships with real estate brokers and other third-parties.
  • Involved in the hiring, management and training of property managers and analysts for the assigned assets.
  • Manage the creation and presentation of annual budgets for the assigned assets.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the Senior Vice President.
  • Assisting the Senior Vice President with the underwriting and due diligence of new acquisition and development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant commercial real estate asset management experience
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent time and project management skills; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent knowledge of Argus and asset valuation principles
  • Experience in drafting, negotiating and managing contracts, leases and other legal documents
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business, finance, economics, accounting, construction, architecture, engineering or related field

  • Master's degree in a related field of study
  • Relevant accreditations such as LEED, WELL, etc.
