Job Description:

SUMMARY: The Director of Talent Acquisition is an HR professional responsible for leading the talent acquisition team while attracting and recruiting high level manager and director level positions. The Director of Talent Acquisition must be well versed in recruitment strategies and processes that align with business needs, practices and promoting the organization in a positive light.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1) Comply with all company policies, procedures and conduct.

2) Strictly adhere to confidentiality and compliance standards.

3) Ensure positions align with approved open requisitions and budgets.

4) Design and deliver talent acquisition strategies centered on attracting and hiring highly skilled talent and managing the TA process.

5) Partner with hiring managers to establish short and long-term plans to attract talent and conduct regular follow up with managers to determine effectiveness and quality of placements.

6) Manage TA recruiters, establish performance expectations and provide feedback and coaching to enhance performance.

7) Develop candidate pipelines through innovative sourcing methods.

8) Coordinate job fairs for the TA team to attend.

9) Manage internal and external job posting advertisements and communications.

10) Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.

11) Research talent acquisition trends to improve the hiring process.

12) Work with CHRO to communicate candidate needs and improve overall retention.

13) Work with HRBPs to ensure smooth candidate offer and onboarding.

14) Maintain up to date sourcing and recruiting logs.

15) Represent the organization at recruiting events.

16) Meet deadlines, goals and expectations.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

1) Bachelor's degree in related field, required.

2) 7+ years progressive experience in talent acquisition required.

3) 3+ years experience in high-level recruitment and placements.

4) 3+ years experience in managing people and developing high performing teams.

5) General Human Resources knowledge required.

6) Experience in healthcare or medical recruiting preferred.

7) Proven ability to drive strategy, work with data and analytics and demonstrated ability to create effective recruitment strategies.

8) Ability to coach and mentor.

9) Ability to facilitate problem solving and overcoming obstacles.

10) Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

11) Must be able to generate reports and communicate findings.

12) Proven ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.

13) Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

14) Excellent customer service skills with internal and external stakeholders.

15) Must be detail oriented with the ability to organize and track large volumes of data.

16) A proven ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing environment.
