We are seeking a versatile Accounting Specialist/Generalist who is ready to wear multiple hats in our dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting at a managerial level and possess experience in manufacturing and distribution operations. Additionally, expertise in purchasing would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Handle general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
Provide leadership and guidance to a small team of 2-5 individuals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize purchasing processes and vendor relationships.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably at a managerial level.
Strong understanding of manufacturing and distribution operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.
Prior experience in purchasing is a plus.
