As a Java Developer you will be responsible for coding and modifying websites and web applications, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java
Developer to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, on-site, and is a contract position.




What You'll Do

• Use Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and data streaming using Kafka
  
  


• Deliver API based solutions using Java Spring Boot
  
  


• Design and delivering messaging solutions using Kafka
  
  


• Deliver hybrid integrations between cloud applications and traditional systems
  
  


• Program in Spring Boot/Python framework
  
  


• Use docker/container stack architecture, technologies, and platforms that includes Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.
  
  


• Use DevOps, DevSecOps and Application Performance Management implementations
  
  


• Design and implementation experience with projects that encompass microservices, API gateways like IBM Datapower, Apigee etc.
  
  


• Translate the functional requirement to technical design
  
  

What You'll Need

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or equivalent
  
  


• 7 + years of experience in Software Engineering and development
  
  


• Solid experience with Java, DevOps, API and Spring Boot
  
  

Desired Skills

• Experience in enterprise integration space using iPass solutions
  
  

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  
  


• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  
  


• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
