As a Principal Designer within the Global Design team, you will work alongside your cross-functional peer group to influence strategic design decisions and ultimately deliver stellar end-to-end experiences across platforms and form factors.

Job Title: Principal Designer - Checkout

You will report to the Sr. Director of Checkout Design and be a member of our diverse Global Design Organization where we believe that different perspectives and backgrounds inside our team lead to innovation and inclusion in our product design. Your Way to Impact:



As a Principal Designer within the Global Consumer Experience Design team, youwill work alongside your cross-functional peer group to influence strategic design decisions and ultimately deliver the best possible app and web experiences.


Expect an immersive, fast-paced environment, influencing multiple projects, while flexing your skills as an effective communicator - especially when it comes to relaying creative concepts to our design teams and company stakeholders.

Your Day to Day:



  • Influence within the Purchase (B2C) portion of the customer journey.

  • Support and inspire creative vision and the standard of output across our team.

  • Apply a customer-focused, iterative design process.



  • Make design decisions based on research and insights, as well as advocate for continuous learning and inclusive design best practices.

  • Collaborate with other cross-functional Design team members (Research, Content Design, UX Operations, Branding) and Product and Engineering stakeholders.

  • Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.




What You Need to Bring:



  • A successful candidate will have at least 8+ years of experience in a senior UX role

  • A portfolio and use cases to share and speak to your design processis required

  • Proven experience in influencing and inspiring highly talented and productive teams

  • Have a thorough command of the UX lifecycle with deep, direct experience in all skill areas and tools, including facilitation of workshops or other collaboration techniques to drive momentum and credibility within the organization

  • Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.

  • A Bachelors or Master's degree in a visual or experiential design discipline is preferred but not required

  • It's recommended you include your portfolio (and password if applicable) directly on your resume - the team will be assessing your level of craft and storytelling
